Environmental Education and Research

The exuberant beauty of the protected area, as well as its preservation state, make it an ideal location for scientific research. Moreover, as it is in all parks open to ecotourism, there are environmental education activities that take place in Malpelo, carried out by education institutions using the area as a living classroom.

Photography and Video

The scenic beauty of the NNP Malpelo make it the perfect location for this activity. It is noteworthy that if the pictures or videos have commercial purposes, a previous permit from National Parks is necessary.

This activity is permitted at La Gringa, Escuba, Los Reyes, Los Gemelos, Sahara, Vagamares, El Arrecife, La Nevera, Monster Face, El Mirador, El Freezer, Acuarium, Pared del Naufragio, Bajo del Ancla and Bajo del Monstruo.
