Its fauna diversity is one of the significant characteristics of the Park. More than 140 bird species have been registered, of which 17 are endemic and more than 10 migratory. As far as mammals, there are 10 species among which there are squirrels, rabbits, white-faced monkeys, giant anteaters, mice, tiger cats, deer and bush dogs. There is also a notable and varied population of insects as well as reptiles and amphibians. In fact, around 15 species of snakes have been registered and recently a new species of frog.
