Currently the visitor center Los Mangles is closed.

The main attraction is humpback whale watching. This activity is led by young natives from the local communities working as environmental interpreters, undergoing training.

This protected area has a vast wealth of birds, which makes bird watching a potential ecotouristic activity.

The scenic beauty of NNP Uramba Bahia Malaga makes it the perfect location for this activity, though a permit from the Natural National Park System is required for photos or videos with commercial purposes.

Much land hiking takes place in the zone of influence of the park. There is also aquatic hiking through the mangrove.
