By land: From Cartagena, you arrive to the Campo Elías Terán Dix bridge to cross over to Isla Barú where you can find the National Aviary, Playa Blanca resort and the settlements of Ararca, Santana and Barú, at 20 minutes from the islands of the Rosario archipelago.

By sea: From the touristic pier La Bodeguita in Cartagena, you can take a boat towards the Rosario archipelago. There are many different types of boats you can take to the area which normally depart between 7:00 and 10:00 AM and take about 1 or 2 hours. The quay is located in the Blas de Leso avenue in front of La Marina park. South of the islands, there are also tourist boats that depart from the town of Tolú (Sucre) towards the islands of the San Bernardo archipelago.
