The steep canyons of the Park, covered by thick vegetation, are home to a small population of Andean condor. Birds are the most representative group of the Park’s fauna; for example, hummingbirds, ducks, bluebirds and birds of prey. In the mammal group there are Andean or speckled bears, northern pudu deer, little red brocket deer, mountain tapir, tiger cat and cougar.
