The Park has a small sample of dry forest of approximately 48 hectares, in Iron Wood Hill sector where you can find the endemic Jamaican silver thatch palm (Coccothrinax jamaicensis), dildo (Acanthocereus pentagonus), birch (Bursera simaruba), totumo or calabash tree (Crescentia cujete) and ceiba or cotton tree (Ceiba pentandra). The mangrove forest, the largest and best preserved in the island, has black mangrove (Avicennia germinans), red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle), white mangrove (Laguncularia racemosa) and button mangrove (Conocarpus erectus).

The icaco-cocoplum is predominant in Crab Cay sector where locals use its fruits to make a delicious traditional sweet. Bordering the coast you can find a strip of seagrass (Thalassia testudinum and Siringodium filiforme) followed by a shallow lagoon of sandy floors and numerous patches of coral that are protected by the extensive coral reef that surrounds the archipelago and that is part of the third longest in the world, next to the ones in Australia and Belize. There you can find blade fire coral (Millepora complanata) and elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata), isolated colonies of brain coral (Diploria strigosa and Montastrea franksi), as well as some soft coral.
