Colombia is one of the richest countries in the world in biological and cultural diversity. We preserve such wealth in 53 natural areas that belong to the National Natural Parks System.

How to use the map

Use this map to get to the park you wish. If you are acquainted with Colombia, you may locate the protected area by means of the map.  Another way of surfing towards your destination is by doing click on "Select by name", where you will find the complete list of all the natural areas of the System by alphabetical order.

Another way of getting to know the area of your choice is by choosing the menu "Select by environment". Here, you will find the descriptions of the tropical environments, as well as the list of natural protected areas that protect each one.

Yet another, more fun way to get to know the protected areas is by choosing "Select by photo". This will allow you to navigate beautiful varied images of the parks and pick the one you like best. You will be just a click away!
